Janera Rose is a Licensed Cosmetologist and Makeup Artist with over 17 years of experience in beauty, fashion, television, and theatre. Most recently, she completed Juilliard’s Hair, Wigs & Makeup Apprenticeship, expanding her work as a Supervisor, Designer, and Wig Maker.
With additional experience as a Key Artist, Cosmetology Instructor, and FIDM Beauty Merchandising & Marketing alumna, Janera’s craft is rooted in education, elevated through artistry, and guided by thoughtful storytelling that honors the worlds of art and entertainment.
When she’s not working on set with some of today’s most coveted brands or behind the scenes of your favorite television and theatre productions, Janera enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling, and dancing to the oldies.
Previously named Time Out New York’s “Most Stylish New Yorker” and selected as a Forbes Under 30 Fellow, Janera respectfully declines Nutella — but loves animals, children, and mentoring the next generation of beauty professionals.
